"And I certainly can't carry anything to heavy for a while," Fayst mumbled out and looked down at his bandaged shoulder for a brief moment.
Slois frowned and crossed his arms. There had to be something didn't there? He really shouldn't be begging for more help from the person he already owed so much to. Wait... "Don't we still owe you?" He asked the black cat, a thoughtful glimmer shining in his eyes. "We can pay you back for working for you, at least temporarily. You don't have to pay us anything more than minimum, just enough for us to get by."

Coricopat's ears laced at that. His paw tightened around the handle of his walking stick and a low growl thrummed in his chest. No way in hell.

The smaller tom had blinked at the suggestion, eyes going back to Coricopat before the twins. "How could I trust you?" he asked.

Without hesitation the tabby reached into to withdraw his revolver. Being sure to keep it in sight of Coricopat- Slois thought that the tom looked about ready to murder him- he opened the barrel and took out all the rounds, dumping them into his paw. With a snap he flicked it to the side and the barrell slid back in place. He tucked it back into his holster again, and proceeded to dig into his pocket. He withdrew a small box in which he opened and dumped the rounds into. The tabby also tucked into his jacket and pulled out a dagger, sheath and all; he then put the box in the hand with the dagger and used the now free hand to draw an identical twin dagger. Putting it all into one hand, Slois held it out to Mistoffelees. "I have no further amunition, and neither does Fayst," He said. "If you would take these I also have another blade." Pausing to gather his thoughts, a moment passed before he continued. "For anything else you are going to trust me on that. I give you my word of honor that I won't bring harm to you or any of your..." He glanced at Coripoat distrustingly. "...friends. You may view that vow however you wish."

The mottled tom's eyes were narrowed and his tail lashed behind him, but he'd let Mistoffelees deal with this. After all, the legal side of the business was Mistoffelees' care not his. He'd all but given his word on that.

Mistoffelees looked from the gun and dagger to Slois' face, over to Coricopat and back to Slois before looking at his brother. "And are you alright with this too?" he asked Fayst softly.

Fayst had been watching his brother, his mouth pressed into a firm line. He was almost sure that the ebony cat would refuse outright and was mildly surprised when he didn't. "I'm fine with it," He said slowly, hesitantly. "I'm willing and somewhat able if you're alright with it."

Coricopat's eyes narrowed and he shook his head once. He wanted his nail file. Badly.

Taking a deep breath, Mistoffelees reached out and took the weapons. "You're on probation," he said. "But show up tomorrow night," he told Slois.

Kneeling down, he pulled his last blade out of his knee-high sock. Standing back up, he held it out to Mistoffelees. "Understood," He said and offered a genuine smile to the shorter tom. At least they were starting to get somewhere.
Fayst let out a small sigh, a great weight feeling like it was taken off his shoulders. At least he didn't need to worry about Slois getting into trouble if he was going to be busy working.

Coricopat said nothing in response to that, turning and quickly exiting the room before he said anything.
((Exit Coricopat))

Mistoffelees blinked when the other kneeled but accepted that last weapon. "Tomorrow then, three pm," he said, before turning and following the lawyer out.

Slois let out a breath and grinned at Fayst. "That went well," he commented.
Fayst rolled his eyes at his brother, but he couldn't disagree.
