Mistoffelees was talking quietly to the receptionist about what a cost for this might be, keeping an eye on the door and watching Cohen bring up the wheelchair and the other activities as nurses started appearing out of the woodwork to be of service.

Slois eyed the doctor with caution but he was more relieved than upset at the offer of the wheelchair. Carefully he set his twin in the wheelchair, some of the nursing staff giving him a few looks, noticing the fact they were twins. It always made Slois a little uncomfortable and his tail flickered as he walked into the building. Immediately in his sights was the ebony cat, Mistoffelees, and he gritted his teeth as he realized that he was probably paying right then for the whole thing. It made Slois' pride sting a little as he had to rely on the other for his help, but there was nothing he could do. Awkwardly, the twin moved out of the way of everyone and stood alone, staring at the chairs a little distrustingly. The particular style did not catch his fancy.

Cohen glanced at Slois, let him know that he would send for him as soon as he was done treating the other twin, and wheeled the injured tom away.
((Exit Cohen))

Turning away from the nurse after getting an estimate of what the bill would look like, Mistoffelees ran a paw over his eyes. He vaguely remembered what it was like to be asleep before it was officially the next morning. His tail drooped in exhaustion.

By this time Slois' legs began to protest from him standing so long. The adrenaline was gone from when Fayst had first collapsed. In the absence of the extra energy, the tabby was exhausted and it showed on him clearly. His tail hung limp, his eyes drooped dangerously, and his paws thudded dully down as he walked. He left his little standing position and made his way over to the currently unoccupied Mistoffelees.
"You know I was serious about paying you back," He began, his voice little more than a drone. "I'm afraid that we can't pay you by any conventional means. We can give you our labor, and that's all we have."

Blinking owlishly at him, Mistoffelees sighed before pointing to the chairs. "Please sit down before you make me want to keel over. And fine. Can we discuss it in the morning?"

Slois looked at the chairs and took a sharp intake of breath before pointedly dragging his gaze back to Mistoffelees. "I hope you don't mind," He said, his voice bone weary despite his protest. "But I'd rather stand." His tail gave a nervous flicker before it went still again. "Why don't you sit down? We did interrupt your plans of a nights rest, afterall. I don't see why you have to suffer through standing."

"I sit down, and I'm going to sleep," Mistoffelees replied, shaking his head slightly in an attempt to wake up a little more. He paused, considering the other. "Are you going to stay here all night?" he asked, trying to figure out when exactly he could run off home, but he could hardly justify abandoning cats to himself--even though the voice that sounded a lot like Coricopat in the back of his head was informing him to just leave now and leave them to their own fates.

Slois gestured with one had to the door, the rain still pouring outside in sheets. "Where else would I go?" He asked softly before letting his hand drop. The tabby gave a considering glance to the chairs. "I understand if you're just going to go, but if your going to stay, I'm not letting you stay up all night. If sitting down will put you to sleep, so be it, sleep."

Running a paw through his headfur, and messing the entire thing up horribly, the smaller cat sighed. "I think I had an offer of a hotel room floating around somewhere, unless you want to stay for your brother."

Slois looked off to where he last saw his brother, hesitating. Shaking his head, the tabby gave a sigh. "I'm going to stay," He decided. "It probably won't be much different here than there. I'll end up falling asleep with or without the bed."

"Alright," Mistoffelees said with a small nod. "Then I am heading home. I'll stop by in the early afternoon to finalize payment with the hospital. If you care so much about paying me back, be here then and we'll discuss something, alright?"

Slois looked over the other cat and gave a nod. "Get some sleep okay?" He said, feeling bad that he had robbed most of the tom's night already. His tail curled behind him and he looked almost sheepish at Mistoffelees. "Seriously, thanks. If you had kicked us out when you got the revolver back, Fayst would be done for." He rubbed his arm, clearly he wasn't used to the whole thanking process. He seriously needed some practice at it.

"You're welcome," Mistoffelees returned, no inflection in his tone. "I'll talk to you tomorrow then." Looking the other over again, he turned to leave, trying to figure out how he was getting home safe and in one piece.

Slois hesitated, not really being to keen on being alone in the hospital. Being in buildings with people he didn't really know made him nervous. "Hey," He spoke up and took a tentative step towards the black tom. "I can walk you back... If you need me to." His statement started out strong but grew noticably weaker by the time the sentence had ended.
