Tantomile watched the exchange between the two toms in silence, only stepping forward when her brother, for whatever reason, dicided to introduce them. However, there was a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth as she shook hands with the new arrival "And a pleasure to meet you as well Dr Cohen."

[Meadowlark]

"Well, now that the two of you have met one another, Cohen is far more capable of answering yoru questions about the files and the like. Good day to you both." Coricopat slipped quickly past them and into the service elevator that had fianlly arrived. Two birds with one stone--turn Cohen into nothing more than a tour guide and get rid of his sister.

Doc opened his mouth to protest being saddled with that job, but the elveator had departed by the time he'd formed the coherent sentence in English. That was the problem with growing up speaking two languages other than the local one... He grit his teeth, muttering something under his breath in a combination of Yiddish and Russian before turning to Tantomile. "Is there a specific question you have, sudarynya?"

Translations: sudarynya = ma'am or madam

If Doc was startled and annoyed by Coricopat's quick exit, Tantomile was seething, mostly because she felt she should have seen it coming. Now she felt as if her brother had one up on her, well she'd make sure things didn't stay that way.

Smoothing her features out of the ugly scowl she'd thrown at Corciopat's rapidly retreating back, Tantomile turned back to Doc, "I apologise for my brother, please don't assume that because I have the misfortune of being his twin biologically that I'm cut from the same mould where personality is concerned."

[Meadowlark]

"I ask you to pardon me for not taking a Zimmerman's word, Miss. We'l see how you compare." He adjusted the armband on his left arm as he closed the file in his paw. "Now, what questions was he refering to?"

[amanika]

"Actually, Dr Cohen, it's Dr Zimmerman, not Miss, otherwise please call me Tantomile." The friendliness to the tone and any hint of a smile was gone, the dark queen's tone was all business now, there was no malice though, despite the insult of being tarred with the same brush as her brother, Tantomile wasn't quite prepared to write this off yet, but she wanted to make it clear where the boundaries lay.

[Meadowlark]

The medical doctor's eyebrows rose a bit, but he nodded. "Fair enough, Dr. Zimmerman. For the third time, what questions did he mean?"

[amanika]

Tantomile shrugged, "Ask my brother what he meant Doctor, because I can assure you, for the moment I think I know everything I need to."

[Meadowlark]

"I try to avoid talking with your brother when I can, Dr. If you need nothing else then I should be going, I have work that needs to be done--some idiot got himself shot last night."

[amanika]

"Then we have something more in common," was Tantomile's response to Doc's first comment, she paused for a moment before adding, "You're the resident medic here I take it then? In which case I might have a few questions for you after all."

[Meadowlark]

"Resident is likely the wrong term. I work for Macavity, it's true, but I work out of Felidae General. Regardless, if I can help I will."

[amanika]

Tantomile nodded, "I work for the state corrections board; psyc. analysis, and run my own practice, so I think it's safe to say I understand where you're coming from."

[Meadowlark]

"Good to know. What can I do for you then?"

[amanika]

Tantomile nodded, "Well I presume you're the cat I'd need to go to if I required access to any of the medical records up here?"

[Meadowlark]

He shrugged. "If you want to avoid your brother, then yes I suppose I am."

[amanika]

"I take that to mean he's personally allowed to approve access to any files in this deparment then?" Tantomile asked, keeping her tone even despite her irritation at this notion. She held out a hand to shake Doc's again, "It looks as if we could be working together a lot."
