The mottled tom's gaze turned back to the window, "That's been changing recently, a good deal." He paused for a moment, speaking again and changing the subject--or so it would appear to anyone who didn't know him, "Did you hear Franklin died?"

"Yeah," he said with a swallow. "Some files on the desk over there for you ta go over if you could. Plus, I'm pretty sure there's a case comin' up later this month I want you ta deal with."

Coricopat moved away from the window to look over the files, "Very well. Keep me updated in regards to whether that case is something you do want?" He paused for a long moment, but didn't ask the question on the tip of his tongue.
