Work Smarter, Not Harder

[Meadowlark]

"Oh there's several things. Good to know that it's something, well perhaps tame is the wrong word, but less....sickening than some." She replied, a slight twitch at the corner of her lips leaving a question of whether she was half-joking or not.

[amanika]

"I guess you've got a point," Tugger agreed, "but sometimes I wonder if the cops are more likely t'go for the likes of us. Less chance of someone on their end getting bumped off that way. We're an easier target."

[Meadowlark]

"I suppose that's true. Guess it's why usually you leggers are associated with a larger syndicate."

[amanika]

"Mmm," Tugger agreed, "though we're not exactly the biggest operation goin'. Hope that's not a reason to be too worried."

[Meadowlark]

"Keep your heads down, and try not to tick off any of the big operations and you should be fine." Griddlebone reassured.

[amanika]

"Thanks for the tip," Tugger suddenly realised he'd been talking rather than working and went hurriedly back to the floor, "we're doing okay so far."

[Meadowlark]

"Well, I wish you luck with your venture. Can take some work and quite a bit of effort to pull something like that off, especially if you're in a neighborhood that asks questions." She motioned slightly with her free paw indicating the place they wre in as one of those places that didn't ask questions.

[amanika]

Tugger nodded, "Well I'm not exactly the brains of the outfit, I let 'Straps worry about that side of it for the most part."

[Meadowlark]

"I see, well, something to keep in mind anyhow. WHat sort of things are you brewing?"

[amanika]

"We've got a few things on the go, though some have been more successful than others," Tugger explained, "some of the early batches took the lining off your insides. But we seem to have things straight with a couple of different brews now."

[Meadowlark]

"Well, that's always good." She churckled. "Customers don't usually purchase things that cause them to lose money or health too drastically."

[amanika]

"The later stuff's been tasting good," Tugger assuered her, "and it ain't too toxic either."

[Meadowlark]

"Hm, well that's good to know. Been having some trouble finding a consistent supplier around here. May ahve to look into a supplemental one." She glanced at him. "Most of the customers we get around here don't care what it is as long as it goes down."

[amanika]

Tugger grinned, "Well I've bin' drinking it and I'm no more worse for wear. If you're interested, say the word and maybe we could arrange something?"

[Meadowlark]

Griddlebone smiled slightly. "Well, I'm pretty well stocked at the moment, but I will be needing some mroe within the next week or so..."
