He nodded again, and glanced up as the shop girl returned with his list.
"Here you are," she said, starting to ring the items up. She glanced at Maggie, arched a brow and returned to her customer.
"Thankee kindly, lady," Philip said, docking his hat to her and making an exaggerated bowing motion, glancing also at Maggie as he did so.

Maggie smiled and dipped into a real curtsy this time. "It was a pleasure to meet and speak with with you, Monsieur Hunt. Perhaps we can meet and speak again?"

He paused, and even Electra glanced over at that. "Certainly," he replied, grinning again. "The idea sounds lovely. Any suggestions?"

Maggie tapped a finger to her lips. "...A poetry reading in the park? We could comment on the weather and other such important things."

Philip grinned. "The weather is most important after all. It sounds well enough, if you have a time and date."

Maggie thought for a moment and then nodded. "How about next Thursday at two o'clock? My uncles are always begging me to take more time off, might as well go to the park, weather permitting." And a cheeky grin graced her happy face.

"Sounds excellent," he replied, putting his hat back on, and double checking the pencil in the brim. "I shall hope to see you then." He turned back to Electra, who handed him his bags then. "And a good day to you as well," he said, inclining his head and turning to leave.

Maggie waved at his retreating back. "I shall hope as well! Do please bring any Dickenson that you have, that'd be lovely!"

He turned slightly at that, grinning, and tipped his hat once more before leaving.
((Exit Philip))
Once he was gone, Electra turned back to the other queen with one arched brow and a grin of her own. "You two seemed to hit it off..."

Maggie's cheeks might as well have burst in flame. "I...uh, well...erm." She coughed and grinned sheepishly. "You think I was too forward?

Electra smiled and then shrugged. "He didn't seem to mind." She shook her head slightly, still smiling. "Did you pick out the hat you wanted then? You might consider wearing it for your date..."

Maggie beamed at the other queen. "Yes, I simply adore this one." She gestured to the pink cloche in her hands. Then a fine blush dusted her cheeks. "...And I will wear it for Mr. Hunt."

Electra's grin only widened. "I think he shall find it quite charming," she said, taking it to check the price tag before handing it back and ringing up the rest of Maggie's groceries. "And that's been one of my personal favorites that we've had in. I'm glad it seems to be going to such a good home."

Maggie giggled as she picked up her purchases. "Then I shall keep it well-fed and find it a nice, soft blanket to sleep on. Thank you so much for your help, Miss Electra. I will come again, Bast knows the food at the house never lasts as long as I would like."

Electra grinned. "Do take good care of it," she replied. "Also, I know for a fact this hat likes to sunbath. And do come again," she said. "I would enjoy that, honey. But have a good day."
