Lou nodded. "It is nice from time to time. Anything good going on in your life?"

Pausing, Sonya thought for a moment and then shrugged. "I have gotten a few new officers, transfered in from different places that are actually... decent looking officers. It is a nice change, though I certainly cannot trust them entire yet, it is almost looking like I might someday have a force that is not entirely in the pocketbooks of the gangs."

"Well, that ought to be somewhat of a relief, even if you can't trust them fully yet."

Sonya nodded. "Rather. It is a... good change, one way or another. I only hope it remains so now."

[Meadowlark]

"Well, I wish you luck in that regard."

[victoriousscarf]

"Thank you," Sonya said, inclining his head. "And I wish you luck with your singer problems, one way or another."

[Meadowlark]

Lou nodded, glancing at a clock. "Well, I really ought to be heading out..."

Sonya nodded, looking at the clock as well and his eyes widening slightly. "Oh good heavens, yes." He rose, nodding to the other. "It was very nice to see you again, and I hope you have a good time of things."

[Meadowlark]

"Thank you, you too. Good luck with that gal, hm?" Lou said, setting money down for his coffee and then rising.

Sonya smiled faintly, tipping his hat to the other. "Rather. Good day, Lou," he said, before turning to leave.

Lou watched him go before slipping out of the cafe and heading to the Chrysalis to get things set for the night.
