For a moment Sonya didn't respond before shrugging. "Her name is Teazer Wheeler and I should not be surprised because it was stupid in the first place. She is not quite half my age but it was still stupid and she is still far, far younger than I am."

He sighed, and shook his head, resting his head against one paw that he propped up on the table. "I... I am not sure how long you have been in town or if you would have even bothered reading about this in the papers but I... When I was younger I was married. It did not take her long to leave me for someone else."

Lou considered, trying to recall, and then nodded slightly. "I do vaguely recall reading about that. But, Sonya, it's not a reason not to consider it again. I would see what the young lady thinks. After all, she's not your ex-wife, is she?"

Sonya sighed. "When you say it like that..." he murmured. "But that..." He shook his head. He just was not sure he could handle something like that again. "Aside from what, what would I even have to offer her anyway? Beside the age difference, it is not like I have anything of a life outside of my work. My very, very dangerous work."
