"Trouble with the...?" she arched a brow before shrugging as they reached the cafe. "Fair enough."

Jerrie pushed open the door to the cafe, holding it for her.

Considering his gallantry the night down at the docks--not wanting to leave a queen alone in such a place--the motion didn't surprise her at all, though she was considering being a little annoyed by it. She stepped through anyway, looking around for a table. "Anywhere you would prefer?"

He shrugged a bit. "Wherever."

She nodded to the coffee, and considered that, shifting slightly in the seat. "Well, if that carving is any indication, you're pretty good at it. If you looked at any bigger projects, you could probably make some money off them. I mean, just in case you wanted to, but I, I would think you had the talent to do something like that."

His smile was a bit self-conscious. "I doubt it...'sides, I wouldn' know where t' start."

Glancing away she lifted her shoulders and let them fall again. "Well, if you don't mind advice from random strangers, it might be a thought."

She nodded, pulling her gaze back. "It's... nice. To be able to do something like that."

She gave him an actual smile at that. "Yeah. And it's always nice to be able to make use of something you're doing anyway."
