A little of the previous smile returned at that, "You too Charles, I'm sorry we managed to fall so out of touch."

"As am I. I've missed hearing from you, and how your life's been going."

"Perhaps you'd like to meet sometime soon, coffee, or pehaps dinner?" Tantomile suggested, "A chance to swap stories and catch up properly?"

"I think coffee is certainly viable." He offered her a bit of a smile. "When are you available?"

"My time is fairly flexible," Tantomile told him, "one of the perks of working in this field. However, I suspect you've got slightly more conservative times in which to fit me in, so if you make a suggestion I'll see what I can do."

"What do you say to the day after tomorrow around two?" He asked.
Cori had been watching the exchange from a distance, frowning slightly as he tried to place the other cat. An...Ah, Anderson. Cat, he hadn't seen the other in ages. He might consider doing so if not for the fact of Tantomile.

Tantomile considered for a moment, "I think it sounds ideal." she decided, "Where would you care to meet?"
Something at that moment made Tantomile glance behind her as she waitied for Charles to suggest a place, and a second later she caught her brother's eyes on her. Quickly she turned back to the cat before her with a little toss of her head. She was enjoying this exchange and didn't want it spoilt by the presence of her twin.

"There's a charming little place down on Main Street, it's not much--and certainly not high class--but it does serve a nice cup of coffee." Charles glanced in the direction Tant had looked in, arching an eyebrow at Cori.
Coricopat rolled his eyes very slightly, looking away. The evening was better than it could be. At least his twin wasn't talking to him.

Mistoffeeles has watched half of that exchange, keeping half his gaze on the door, and the other bit glancing around, wondering vaguely where Tugger might have gotten himself. He'd have to look for him later probably...

Tantomile nodded, "I think I know the place you're referring to, I walk past anytime I'm called into the police station. I've never been in though," she added, her tone becoming slightly teasing, "so you'd better be right about the coffee."
She glanced briefly behind her again, both relieved and annoyed that Coricopat had looked away.

The red and white tom laughed quietly at that. "Well, I know I like it. I suppose we shall have to see if you say the same."

"We shall indeed," the mottled queen agreed, trying to resist looking over her shoulder again, annoyed with herself for wanting to, becuase it meant her brother was getting to her even without speaking to him.

Charles glanced toward Cori, who was still studiously not looking at them, and then spoke again. "What do you say we go see what the host has for beverages?"

Slightly surprised but somewhat gratified by the suggestion, Tantomile nodded, "Why not." she agreed, giving him another smile and feeling less need to look over her shoulder as she turned towards the bar. "Perhaps they'll have something interesting. I never know quite what to expect here, if you've ever looked at the dessert menu in the restaraunt, you'll know what I mean."

"To be completely honest I don't believe I've dined here as of yet." He replied, following her through the crowd.
