"Depends on what you mean by 'of interest'. We have cats from several different social strata and different backgrounds here tonight." Came the response.

Misto shrugged. "Not actually sure what I meant. Anycat to avoid like the plague if nothing else?"

"Your uncle." Came the dry response. "Otherwise, I can't think of any--oh, the desk clerk, Smith, if he ever leaves the desk."

Tantomile paused momentarily outside of the ballroom to check her apperance in a compact mirror. She'd made rather an effort tonight; the dress was brand new, longer perhaps than fashion dictated but flattering to her figure and still very much in style, her short cropped hair was also styled less serverely for once, looking quite elfin and attractive.
Snapping the mirror closed with satisfaction, Tantomile slipped it neatly inside her purse, before stepping elegantly inside the ballroom. She nodded in Macavity's direction, but left it at that, she could catch him later when he was a little less busy meeting and greeting. Instead she wove her way across the room, pausing quite frequently to converse with cats she knew, rather enjoying that she knew so many present, though the additional fact that a surprising number of them were clients of hers was a joke she enjoyed all to herself.

Misto blinked and nodded. "I'll keep that in mind," he said, eyes glancing toward the door to yet again check for his uncle. He paused at the sight of the queen standing there, glancing between her and Coricopat a couple times in confusion.

Coricopat noticed the switching gaze and followed it, frowning slightly. "Almost forgot. Add her to the list."

"Um," Misto frowned at him. "Please tell me you're related, or that is just a little too weird how much you look alike..."

Cori grimaced ever so slightly. "We are." Anything more than that? Not going to be offered.

Misto finally settled his gaze back on Coricopat, arching a brow. "Well, that's somewhat reassuring, with patterns like that," he shrugged. It wasn't like he was ever the type to enjoy talking about family.

Charles scanned the room. He had been willing enough to attend, though more for the sake of establishing contact with potential clients than anything else. It never hurt to be seen at these functions. He glanced around, his eyes lighting on the mottled queen. His brows rose, she certainly had grown up since the last time he'd seen her. He approached her. "Tantomile? Tantomile Zimmerman?"

Tantomile turned at the mention of her name, ears flicking in the direction of the familiar voice a moment before she turned, a smile, perhaps even genuine, crossed her face when she saw the cat who had spoken. "Goodness, Charles Anderson, what a pleasure to see you again." the cat was an old family friend, she couldn't recall the last time she'd seen him in person, a rare thing for Tantomile.

The white and orange cat offered her a smile in response. "And you, Tantomile. It's certainly been a while. Whatever have you been up to of late?"

Tantomile shook her head, still a little taken aback, albeit in the very best way, to see the cat before her. "I wouldn't know where to begin, just when was the last time I saw you?" it had to have been before she went away to university, she was sure of it.

He let out a breath, almost a low whistle as he tried to recall. "Cat, it's gotta be going on toward fifteen years. Think it was graduation...so, yeah about fifteen." He looked her over and then at their surroundings. "You seem to be doing well for yourself."

Tantomile laughed lightly, "I suppose I haven't done too badly," she admitted, "and I suspect," she added, looking him over properly, "that neither have you."
