"I'll leave the tie off," Mac said with a grin as he started in on the food. "Though, you would look extra dashin' in one, so perhaps that alone is an argument against it, huh?"

Tugger snorted, "Extra stupid y'mean, I don't want anythin' that's gonna make me look like a penguin either." he followed his older brother's cue and started eating as well, Mac had been right about the dish, whatever it might be called.

Mac chuckled, shaking his head slightly. "After lunch, come up and you can pick somethin' out, how's that sound?" He ate another bite, eying his brother. "How do you like yours?"

Tugger looked more than placated at that. "Sure." he nodded appreciatvely as he took another bite, "It's good, though I still don't know that I got any more idea what it is."

Mac chuckled again. "Well, I can tell you there's chicken and some vegetables in it, but more than that and you'll have ta ask the cook."

"Chicken and veg?" Tugger laughed, "I think I can cope with that, without neednin' to know more." he would have been unlikely to complain anyway, he wouldn't say so, even to his brother, but whilst Tugger did tend to eat better, or at least more frequently, than Munkustrap, this was definitely the biggest and best meal he'd had in a while.

I mean, if you want ta eat here more, you can and not worry about pay or, if you need a place ta spend the night sometimes. I wouldn't mind havin' you around more."

For a second, Tugger stiffened, but he kept himself under control, he put his fork down, rubbing the back of his neck, "I appreciate the offer, but I don't know. It's nice t'see you more often, but I don't think I'll be comin' in here on my own if you ain't around... I'd feel outta' place."

Tugger arched an eyebrow at him, "I'll bear it in mind, I noramally get lunch before I start at the Fishbone though."

Mac winced faintly at the mention of the Fishbone. How many times was that that Tugger had brought up Griddlebone in one way or another? He was getting worse as the day was going on. "The offer stands," he said.

A brief nod, "I might make use of it on days I ain't workin' then." Tugger agreed, though he still wasn't entirly comfotable accepting. If Macavity planned on making a habit of this, then he'd have to find a less direct way to allow Tugger to really be comfortable with it, he was a proud cat, probably too proud.

Tugger strated eating again, mostly for something to do, staying silent until he'd cleared his plate. He'd also been a little more hungry than he realised.
