Macavity bit back the smile he wanted to give, thinking about Coricopat's extra-curricular activities, or at the very least his rather personal relationship with a certain black tom. "He likes jazz music," Macavity said instead. "Though that ain't much of a personal life it's a start when it comes to him."

"Jazz music?" Harquill echoed. "No, it's not much but it's a start." He carefully picked up his own drink to sip at, uncertain if he actually wanted to know what he was drinking or not. "And what of you then?"

"I'm afriad I don't have that much to speak of," Harquill said quietly. "I live more in my work, though I do have one... friend who takes up quite a bit of my day. I'm also fond of a good cup of coffee and I like jazz myself."
