"It's a popular name," Macavity replied. "Not only do I have a lawyer brother who conflicts with your office probably more than is healthy for anycat involved, but I run a rather glamorous and possibly ostentatious hotel."

A light donned knowingly in Harquill's eyes. "Ah, I'm afraid it is more the brother I am familiar with than the hotel, though I have heard about it. The Démoniaque, was it?

"There's somethin' about knowin' a kit since high school to 'et away with nicknames," Macavity replied. "Doesn't mean he don't keep personal and professional lives pretty separate, over all." Though, that didn't mean his personal and underworld life didn't mesh pretty closely.
