Difficult, The tortie pursed his lips. But not impossible. "Oui," He said as he moved to comply. The difficulty would be trying to guess where her belly would actually be and for how long. After making it a more loose to suit the queen's needs, Russell spoke up again. "Ef you need me to take et out more, you can just bring it back and I will take et out for you."

"Thank you, sir." She inclined her head to him and returned to the fitting room, carefully slipping out of the dress and back into the one she had been wearing. Grids returned a couple of moments later, offering the pinned dress to Russell.

Russell took the dress from Griddlebone with a smile and promptly took it to his sewing machine where he set to work. "Ef I may ask when you are expecting?" More polite conversation, but this time he actually was a little curious.

"Mid may," she answered, smiling faintly.

((How could he not notice that? The world may never know xD))
"'ow sweet," Russell himself had never been personally good with children but watching them from afar didn't seem all that bad. "'ave you been thinking about any names?"

"Not really, my husband and I still need to discuss that," which meant she needed to broach the subject with Mac.

As Russell pulled the dress to stitch up the other side, he gave her an almost sympathetic glance. "I wish you luck on that," He said. "Deciding names es a 'ard process. Took my own parents a good couple of months to decide on my younger brother's name." And they were drunks and only paid attention to said child only half the time, but still.

"It can be, especially having to choose for whichever eventuality occurs."

Russel nodded his head as his machine hummed. "Yes," He agreed.

She considered some of the nearby fabrics as she listened to the whirr of the sewing machine, "Have you been in Felidae long?"

There was a silent pause as Russell shifted the dress. "I 'ave been 'ere for several years," He said. "Not as long as most, but long enough."

She nodded, "From France, yes? Unless I am completely unable to place accents anymore."

"Oui," Russell's smile looked just barely forced. "I am of France."

She looked him over and then nodded, "More charming than some of your countrymen that I've met."

Russell's eyes dropped back down to the dress but he hesitated before actually continuing to work on it. "Et es like they say, you can't choose your family and you can't choose where you were born." Both were very sore topics for the tortie who's tail flickered behind where he sat.
