At her approval, he took a proper length of the material and cut it away from the rest. After seeing to that, he promptly laid it out and began to mark and cut away. "Es thar anything in particular you plan on wearing this to?" Russell asked politely.

The tortie gave a small chuckle, knowing all too well the truth of that statement. "They say the greatest knight of all was Sir Prize, after all," He recited one of the strange little sayings he had picked up from his time on the ship.

Russell's tail swished to portray his faint amusement, but he was silent for a moment as he worked. "Do you 'ave any plans for Valentines Day?" He asked to keep the conversation going; he did not like it when his customers got bored and the best way was to fill it with small talk.

Russell nodded his head in agreement. "I certainly hope so," He said.
After a short while he had the seams of the dress held together by pins. Turning to the white queen, he smiled. "Ef you would try et on? I would like to make sure it fits properly."

The queen inclined her head, slipping over to the fitting rooms and entering. She carefully put the dress on, checking the fit and emerging again so he could take any necessary changes into account.

He put the entire dress under scrutiny, making sure the seams hugged to her curves just right. Whenever Russell came to a part he didn't like, he would carefully undo the pins and without showing any extra Griddlebone, would repin them back to the dress would lay flat. After making sure it fit right, the tortie looked over the dress all together. "Does this suit your needs?" He asked.

She placed a paw over her pregnant belly, "If you could allow it a bit more space, I'm not due for a few months yet and I would like to be able to wear the dress."
