She looked extremely relieved at that and sunk back down onto the bed in a seated position. "That is a.." she paused, trying to recall the English word. "Relief?" she ventured, almost sounding if she wasn't sure if she was using the right word. There were times she really wished she had a better grasp of English.

"Well," he smiled faintly at her. "Don't strain it too much. Don't go out of your way to make a fuss, but I wouldn't walk on eggshells. At least, so long as he's not in one of his moods," Mistoffelees considered. "But I doubt he'll throw you out on your tail. Besides, I'm not the insulted type."

She looked relieved at that, although she did tilt her head in confusion at the "walk on eggshells". 'Why would anyone want to walk on those?' she privately wondered, wishing English would just make /sense/. "I will take your advice and follow it fully," she said, bobbing her head just a little.

He smiled faintly and nodded. "Alright," he said, tail flickering. Honestly, he wasn't sure anycat should ever take his advice but there you had it. "Good luck," he added.

((It doesn't help that he's like the fourth tom she's dealt with (Mac doesn't count since it was a brief meeting and she took off quickly after she heard that he needed to talk to his brother. Those two so need a proper meeting XD I wanna have him catch her singing. Everyone else has so far XD) and the only one who's offered advice on how to act and react around Mac))
"Thank you, Mssr," she murmured, smiling. Finally, her nerves were back to being settled - having gotten unsettled at some point during the conversation - so once again an easy smile settled on her features. There was just something about this tom that made it so easy to trust him.
It would be fun to teach him about opera - and maybe, he could teach her to understand English better...

He nodded, giving her a smile. "Anytime. At any rate, I should probably go check and see how things are looking. Plus, the never ending stream of paperwork that seems to have made up my life lately."

She nodded. "And I should return to doing battle against this ...room." She barely contained her shudder. "I believe the last guest here was feeding the dust bunnies."

That got a soft laugh from the small tom. "Oh dear. I would hate for that to happen. Well, I wish you luck in your battle against them. Hopefully they're not that bad?"

"It is only bad if they start to move. None have yet but I am wary of them." She did cast a glance down at the dust ruffle before allowing a soft laugh to escape her lips. "Until the next time we meet," she said politely, rising to give him a proper curtsy.

He blinked before attempting a bow. "Until next time," he replied, offering her a smile before slipping from the room and back towards the foyer.
((Exit Mistoffelees))

Lise paused a moment before she turned her attention back to the room. Now, where to start.
