Maggie gleefully clapped her paws. "I'll let my uncles know, they're always bothering me to go out and have fun! Seven o'clock then? Where shall we meet?"

Electra nodded, pulling out a pad and a pencil, setting it on the counter and sliding it over to Victoria with a smile. "Sure, honey."

Victoria scribbled her address, name and phone number down on the pad. "I should probably be going. Don't want to keep Mother waiting." She gathered up her crutches and headed for the door. With a last wave and "see you on Wednesday." She left the store and headed home.

"Good-bye!" Maggie looked at the clock and jumped up. "Oh blast! I'm due back at the Demoniaque in twenty minutes! Until Wednesday then!" She gathered her belongings and rushed to the door, but paused at the threshold. "You will be careful, won't you?"

Maggie flashed a brilliant smile to Electra. "I will! Thank you! Take care!" Turning, Maggie dashed off down the street, hoping against hope that Uncle Fred wouldn't notice that she was late...
