Coricopat picked up a dishcloth, drying the dishes as Misto finished with them.

Offering him a smile, Misto finished the last of the dishes, since Coricopat had managed to clean as he went there weren't many. "Thank you," he said softly, handing the last over. "For making dinner and this."

Coricopat dried the last dish, returning it to the cupboard. "Of course."

Silently, Misto watched him, leaning his hip against the counter, before glancing at the clock. "There once was a time I was asleep by now," he said with a wry smile. "Now it seems unbelievably early to turn in."

Misto smiled with a bit more humor than he had been. "Oh, paperwork. Well, honestly at this point I'll accept anything to keep my mind from being given too much time to itself."

Cori rolled his sleeves back down, fastening the cuffs again, before he motioned toward the front room. "Shall we?"

Misto nodded, pulling his own sleeves back down but hardly bothering to button them back up or anything. Making his way to the living room, he glanced around before settling on the far side of the couch from where Coricopat usually sat to do the paperwork.

Cori pulled a couple of files out of his briefcase to get to work on, settling at the other end of the couch.

For a moment Misto watched him, having curled his legs up underneath him and rested his arm and chin on the side arm. "Anything I could help with?"
