Several hours after her encounter with Genghis, Clara approached the fisherman's boat, looking around for him and unsure if she should step onto the boat if he was not there. Fishermen tended to be somewhat superstitious after all.

Arthur was down in the engine room greasing machinery when he heard one of his deckhands call down to him.
"Skip, that queen from yesterday is back!"
"I'll be right up." He shouted, wiping his greasy paws with a rag. He still had grease spots on his fur, shirt and overalls; but he couldn't do much about that right now.
Arthur climbed the short ladder and walked out onto the deck to the gangplank. "Come on," He said, gesturing for her to come aboard. "Right leg first, please."

She raised a brow, noticing that she had been right about the superstitions. Carefully stepping aboard with her right paw, she nodded at the fisherman. "Good day, Mr. Lambrick."

"Please, call me Arthur." The tom said. "So, shall we go and discuss business?"

She nodded, not saying one way or the other that she would refer to him as Arthur. "Yes, I am more than ready to discuss business."

The gray tom led her back to his "office" and bid her to sit down. "So, what did your boss have to say about our partnership?" He asked.

"He believes it should work out well," she replied, carefully not letting her ears flicker thinking back on the conversation.

"So, what is he looking for?" Arthur asked, taking a seat and wiping a bit of grease onto his pantleg.

"For now? Mostly guns. He would like to sample all products before a final agreement though," she replied, settling down into the same seat and sweeping her skirt out.

"Samples?" Arthur asked, with a bit of skepticism. "My products don't all come from the same place, getting a 'sampler' would be difficult."

She sighed softly, having figured that. "My employer would like to see some of the guns you would be providing if possible, and a price list for alcohol. I understand it will be difficult, but if possible it would be beneficial."

Arthur sighed. "I'll see what I can do about the price list." He said. "The guns are another matter. I can tell you what I can get my paws on, for what it's worth. However I have suppliers from Canada and the United States. Unless your employer is willing to foot eighty dollars in advance for fuel, I'll only do one at a time."

"Alright," she said, shifting slightly in her seat. "I will pass that along to him concerning the trip. If you can get to me the list and the model of the guns you're capable of getting, I shall pass both of those along at the time as well."

"I'll consider it." Arthur said, "Guns are a bit variable, but I can make a tentative list."

She nodded. "I understand it will be difficult, but a tentative list is all I ask."
