Arthur started making a list, categorizing the items by availability.
He handed the list to Clara, "Like I said, tentative, and mostly Great War surplus, which means they are available in crates. Things under 'easily available' can usually be pulled up in about a week. Things that are 'occasionally available' can usually be gotten in less than a month after ordering. Things I marked as 'rare' depend on the available supply, which can mean that your order might not be filled for several months after it's ordered."

She had pulled out a cigarette, smoking quietly as he composed the list before looking it over. "Thank you," she said. "Even as a tentative list, that is most thorough and appreciated."

"I'm glad you think so." Arthur said. "I'm afraid my alcohol list is not nearly as thorough."

"Well," she said with a faint smile. "That's just a list we need prices for. Honestly, there are not quite as many types of alcohol as there can be guns. It's how the alcohol is mixed that changes it."

Arthur took out another piece of paper and started listing. His prices were fairly reasonable, some merchandise was more expensive than other suppliers, but other products were cheaper.

She watched him making the second list, reading a couple of the prices upside down. Reasonable yes, but bast knew if her boss was. She would stop by and get the list from their other suppliers later, see what could be worked up.

"Just tell your employer that I will be going out up to the Cod fisheries tomorrow. If he wants anything, he should get in contact before then." Arthur said.

"I shall pass it along with the lists," she replied, standing. "Good day to you then."

She inclined her head to him again, slipping out and leaving the boat, heading off to speak to their main supplier and then to drop the lists off with Genghis.
