He nodded slightly, listening to the music for a moment. "Would you care t' dance?"

She really shouldn't have asked earlier... But she nodded anyway, somewhat curious before sliding off the stool. "If you would like..."

He got off the stool offering her his paw. "S'long's y' sure."

"Certainly," she replied, not certain at all. "But it has been a while since I last danced, so you might have to be patient with me at first."

He offered her a smile at that. "Not a problem." He guided her out to the dancefloor, getting a feel for the music as he lead her into the basic step.

She hesitated a moment, trying to get to feel for this sort of beat. It had been far too long since she last danced, and to a very different sort of music. It had been in Europe even. But a basic step was hardly difficult, especially since he was leading it.

He waited until he felt sure she'd gotten her bearings with the step before gently leading her through a turn.

A turn was simple enough, and she found herself smiling slightly at the end of it. Perhaps she really did take a little too much joy in being able to do anything well.

Jerrie offered her a bit of a grin as he continued to lead her through some of the basic moves to accustom her to the dance.

She caught on to them well enough, and quickly enough to actually, strangely, start enjoying the dance as well.

Jerrie started to mix it up a bit, moving on to a few of the more complicated patterns of turns.

She was able to follow most of them with little to no problem, and found herself enjoying it even more... for the intellectual challenge she hoped.

He offered her a grin, guiding her through a few more steps and into a final spin as the song came to an end.

She came to a stop, considering him and the fact the music had ended. That had been far more enjoyable then she expected, and wasn't actually sure what to think of that fact. "Thank you," she said after a moment, figuring it was the correct thing to say.

He shook his head slightly. "No, thank you. Y' dance well."
