She pointed out the deli just a couple storefronts ahead."Ah, there's the place." She said instead, changing the subject while she thought about it. It did sound grand and she'd probably agree, but there was no need to give him so satisfying an answer too quickly.

((I was staying vague on purpose, since I rather figured it wasn't going to get played out. Plus I have no idea what there would have been in the city in 1919))
The Siamese nodded, "I suppose this marks my cue to leave then, so tell me, will I have the pleasure of your company again tonight?"

"Yes, Mr. Morgan. I will go dancing with you tonight. And, if you please, I shall meet you right here at seven for that purpose." On a whim, she leaned in and kissed his cheek before disengaging herself to enter the deli.

His smile was just a little triumphant at that. "I shall look forward to it." he told her, grining further at the kiss before turning to watch her leave.

The Siamese grinned again at her retreating back, looking forward to the evening more than he'd thought. This was certainly going to be interesting.
