"To enjoy myself? Depends. Some days when the weather is fair I'll find myself a nice patch of sunlight and watch cats go by." She lifted her skirt slightly to step up onto the curb.

She took a moment to consider her answer.
"I go dancing." She said it without looking at him, though she still looked to be enjoying herself.

I can call off my plans with Joseph. she thought Not sure how I'll present it to make sure he doesn't mind, but I'll think of something.
"Did you have somewhere in particular in mind?"
It wouldn't do to run into Joseph. If I'm lucky I won't have to steer him to a different hall.

She rattled off a couple of names, two downtown dancehalls and an uptown invitation only club.

Genghis smiled, He'd been to two of the places previously certainly it gave him an idea of what she liked. After a moment's thought he listed off two places himself, one a dancehall and one a similar venue to the uptown club she'd mentioned, though, in his opinion, a little more relaxed and less full of empty-headed socialites. "Depending on what you're in the mood for, please do take your pick."
