Taradan knocked on Coricopat Zimmerman's office door, he was still in a bad mood from the night before and trying to curb it, getting angry with Zimmerman wasn't going to help him in any way here. Best he could do was see what the other tom had to say before jumping to any conclusions.

Coricopat looked up from his paperwork, one eyebrow arching before he slid the papers to one side. "Enter."

Taradan felt the fur rise a little along his spine at the almost emotionless tone, Zimmerman unnerved him almost as much as Smith, just in a different way.
Still he opened the door and stepped inside, closing it behind him but choosing to stand near it with his arms folded, the smallest display of defiance (as well as self-protection), rather than approaching the desk.
"Y'asked t'see me."

"Ah, Logan. Take a seat." Cori rocked back in his chair. "There are a couple of things I'd like to speak with you about."

This was sounding an awful lot like the last time, and that, along with what Smith had done was more than enough to make Taradan edgy, ears flicking as he moved warily to sit down.
He crossed his arms over his chest again, "An' what would those things be?"

"To begin with, do you have a formal suit? We're needing security for the New Year's ball, and you've been elected."

Taradan was somewhat taken aback at that, he didn't feel particularly set at ease that Coricopat hadn't mentioned Ricky. However, he nodded, "I got somethin' yeah. What's it entail?"

"Not much more than what your job at the Chrysalis does. Keep an eye out for trouble, make sure the cats who are there are supposed to be, etc."

Tardan nodded again, "Sounds like it ain't no problem. Just me on the door, or will there be others?" He liked to be sure to cover all posts when being assigned a job, it payed to ensure you had all bases covered if something went wrong.

"Jefferson will be as well. There's only really the one entrance to the ballroom, so you should be alright. If you have suggestions for others let me know."

Taradan thought for a moment, "Not sure about who, but it might be worth havin' one or two in the foyer as well, since guests gotta' come in or out that way."

Cori nodded slightly, taking mental note of that. "I'll see to that. Now, as to the other order of business."

Tardan felt his ears flick back at that, before he could stop them, he knew what was coming. He just nodded, deciding it would be unwise to say anything.

"I've let the fact that your brother's working for Jones slide so far. This is on the assumption that such ties won't affect your work, and on the possibility of you persuading him to give you information he mar gain in such a position. Do you think either of those are likely, Mr. Logan?"

Well that wasn't as bad as it might've been. Taradan took his time thinking Coricopat's words over before her replied.
"It ain't gonna' have any effect on my work." he said finally. "As t'the other thing, I got no scruples about snitch work on Jones happenin', but I ain't prepared t'put Ricky in that position. He's thirteen, he don't deserve what would happen if Jones found 'im out." Taradan swallowed, he had no idea how Coricopat would take this.
