Mac nodded, taking a sip from the water that had been left on the table, putting out his cigarette in the next moment. "Though," he said, thinking of all the lovely information on Jones he had sitting up on his desk. "Those that don't work hard tend not ta gather any loyalty ta their side..."

Genghis nodded again, "That's also true, and loyaty in it's turn goes a long way."

Mac also nodded. "It rather does. After all, without loyalty, it's hard ta 'et anythin' done. Even in minor matters, it goes a very lon' way."

"Exactly, I couldn't agree more." Genghis replied, "It seems you and I see things in a rather similar way Mr Hollister. Makes me rather glad you presented me with the opportunity to know you better."

Macavity inclined his head at that as well as the food arrived. "I'm 'lad as well for you comin'." For a while he picked at the food, eating rather than talking.

Genghis was appreciative of the food, satisfied enough to concentrate on his crab cakes rather than making conversation. So he didn't mind Macavity's silence.

"Do you have a chance to come uptown often then?" Mac asked after a while. "I seem ta recall your business mostly bein' downtown. Not that there's anythin' wron' with that of course, just curious."

"I spend the majority of my working time downtown," Genghis agreed, not at all offended by the question, "when you're dealing in imports in this city, you can never be too careful of your cargo and stock, so I like to be able to oversee things personally, which is why I keep my main office on site. But as it happens I have property uptown as well, though sadly I find precious little quality time to spend there."

Macavity nodded, taking another bite and considering. "Well, if you ever find the time and are abouts, the restaurant is open if you ever feel the need ta stop by. Oftentimes I'll even be around durin' the lunch hour."

"Thank you, I may take you up on that sometime." he grinned, "Especially if the main is as good as the starter."

"Well, I would certainly hope it is," Mac said, leaning back in his chair slightly.

Genghis's grin widened as the waiter returned, "It looks like I shall be finding out shortly."

Mac chuckled at that, nodding at the waiter and digging into the food once it was set in front of him.

Genghis quickly followed suit, glad to find he was not dissapointed. "So how long did this hotel of yours take to build?"

"'Bout a year," Mac replied. "Why?"
