"He's the nephew of Bustopher Jones. Other than that?" He certainly wasn't going to say anything past that. He may suspect more, but he liked Cor a whole hell of a lot more than his sister.

Her eyebrows rose at that, "Well that is interesting in itsself. Still seems quite a length for Cori to go to get Quaxo into his confidence. But then again, my brother's designs on that cat are no doubt his own. What struck me was how protective he seemed, if nothing else you might have gained a very loyal employee." Loyal to Coricopat at any rate.

"Quaxo to Cori, even without the arguement I'm fairly sure I didn't register in his good books. I don't think he liked me closing the door on myself and Cori one bit, goodness knows he left it open very pointedly later."
