"What?" Tugger gave his friend a sheepish look, quickly straightening from leaning against the couch "Ah yeah, I guess that might help," he admitted, moving to shift it to one side.

Once the couch was moved, Jerrie brought the ladder over, setting it up directly under the worst water damage. He glanced at Bombalurina. "I hope y' don't mind, Beauty, it's gonna be a bit more of a mess for a while...We'll get it patched back up and cleaned up, but 'til then..."

The scarlet siren cocked a brow at Jerrie's endearment, though sent a sly smirk towards Tugger at his sheepish reaction, lifting herself from the side of the wall and wandering back over to the kitchen. Best to leave them to their work; afterall, she didn't know much abut anything of that sort...but she did know how to cook. Intent on starting lunch, she began preparations for a few lots of sandwiches. It was the least she could do for all the time they were wasting on her.

Alright, they could work on this without worrying about the mess then he supposed. He glanced around trying to decide if there was anything else that needed to be moved.

Luckily for Tugger, he missed the look Bombalurina gave him. He was glancing at the celing instead and then back at Jerrie. "So where d'we start?"

"We're gonna start wit' one of us up on this ladder while th' other makes sure it's braced. We're gonna have t' rip down that section a th' celin'."

Tugger gave the ladder a quick look over. "Which one of us is doin' which?"

"Don't sound like one's any better than the other." Tugger snorted.

Jerrie chuckled. "No, not really. I'll take th' job a pullin' it down, mostly try t' make sure I don' break m' neck at this point, cause I ain't gonna be able t' do muhc in th' way a bracin' m'self."

Jerrie chuckled. "Guess y' know I trust y' then." He set up the ladder and picked up the prybar, heading up the ladder.

"I guess y'do." Tugger agreed, coming over to the ladder and steadying it as his friend started climbing, placing a footpaw on the bottom step to better balance the weight as well.((I'm thinking skimming over the majority of what they're actually doing might be an idea. ))

Jerrie perched himself on the top rung, knocking the end of the crowbar easily through the rotten ceiling so he could start pulling the plaster down.((I agree on that point ))

Tugger ducked slightly as damp plaster rained down on them, still keeping his paws on the ladder. However, by the time they'd been at it for some time, he gave up trying to avoid getting it on himself, since being covered in plaster dust was inevitable. His shirt covered in a layer, not to mention the amount that had worked it's way into his mane and headfur.
