Mungojerrie entered the Walnut Cafe, glancing around. He hadn't been in for over a week, busy with work and the holidays. He wasn't entirely sure why he'd come in anyhow, but here he was. He made his way over to a table in the corner.

Deme was serving the only customer they had when Mungojerrie came in and sat at a table in a corner. She finished giving them their food and headed over to where Jerrie was. "Hello again. What can I get you?" She gave him a small smile.

He looked up, a little startled, but offered her a smile in response. "Sandwich and a coffee?"

Her smile turned embarrassed. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you. I assume you want the same sandwich as before?"

She gave him a brighter smile and went to get his order. A few minutes later she came back with it. She also had to give her only other customer his receipt. She gave it to him and came back over to Jerrie. "How have you been?"

She frowned. "You don't seem all that sure about that. Are you sure? Sometimes talking about any troubles you have can help." It was her turn to give him a reassuring smile.
