His eyebrows rose again, shifting a little to present himself in the best way he could in his position. "I shall be fascinated to see what you come up with then," he said, voice still rumbling in his chest.

The smirk continued to tug at her lips. "I think I'll like what I find." She purred. "The question is if you'll feel the same."

"Oh," he said, looking her over once. "I doubt that will be tha problem."

Cat, she missed the feeling of being desired. It was nice to know she still could be. The white queen rose, picking up her coat again. "Well, I suppose I ought to let you rest, hm? The sooner you're better the sooner we can sort this out, no?"

Mac continued to smirk at her. "That's quite the motivation to 'et better than isn't it?"

She paused, her smirk still in place. "It should be."

"Well then," Mac said, shuffling through some of the papers in front of him, though his eyes were still on her. "I hope to see you very soon."

"You will." She pulled her coat on stepping over to the door, pausing to look over her shoulder at him. "Get well soon, handsome." With that Milady left.

Macavity watched her go, leaning back in the chair carefully, considering. That had been... different.
After a couple minutes he turned back to what he had been looking over before, remaining in his office, not very intent on moving at all.

The concept of having to knock on Macavity's door was not as big an issue for Tantomile as it appeared to be for her brother. Tantomile would have knocked anyway, she was that kind of cat, although it had nothing, in her case, to do with subserviance, she was just frighteningly efficient.
She flicked through the files she was holding whilst waiting to be invited inside, mildly curious about the attractive white longhair queen she'd seen leaving here as she came up the stairs. She didn't dwell on it though, her mind returning quickly to the business at hand.

Mac blinked at the door, frowning. This was getting ridiculous. Did he need to get his ears checked? At least today he had the excuse of getting himself shot.
"Come in," he called out after a moment of seething.

Tantomile entered the room, shutting the door neatly behind herself. She looked at Macavity hard for a moment before speaking, choosing her words with care.
"I've got the psych reports you asked to see before I pass them over to the courts." she looked at Macavity again, "if you like I can leave them with you, there are a number of days before they need to be presented there, so if you're not up to going through them right now..." she let the sentance hang.

Mac shrugged, using the method he had practiced as to not strain his side. "I don't have much else to be doin' at the moment, so I'm more than able to go over them now."

Tantomile raised an eyebrow but made her way over to the desk, files in hand and took a seat in front of Macavity. However, her eyes flicked to his face searching for the expression there. Something about him had always facinated her, certainly, the state of Macavity's mental health was a more interesting case than the files she had come to discuss with him.
All the same, she opened the first file, "These are as based in fact as I can make them. It's amazing what psycological conditions anyone can have if you look hard enough. Almost no one is 'normal'. Obviously, I have taken a few liberties, but its useful to be coming from a factual standpoint if anyone seeks a second opinion." Tantomile couldn't quite help but give a little laugh at that, she knew she was the only cat with this level of expertise, certainly in the whole of Felidae, possibly further, yes cats of lower qualifications might be able to draw a sound conclusion, but it was their word against that of an expert in the field. She liked to cover her back, but the idea of someone actually challangeing her on this was rather insulting.

Mac nodded. "Anyone in this city ever take a second opinion?" he asked, reaching for one of the files. His ear had flickered on her statement that no cat was normal but he let it slide. If it had been her brother, he would have made a remark about how he hoped the other wasn't talking about him.
