Munkustrap had the day off from work, and he really wished he didn't. He'd slept far later than he usually did this morning, which was good, but he'd had the choice of being bored out of his skull at the house or coming downtown and still having nothing to do except replay what had happened the night before.
His inclination to turn Tugger into a fur rug had risen exponentially the night before. First the idiot got himself arrested in relation to a murder his other brother likely had committed and then he evaded the questions. Top that evening off with being compared to their father and to say Munkus' temper was foul was easily an understatement.

Electra hummed to herself as she walked down the street, several bags in her arms. She needed to drop them off at the store, and then had the rest of the afternoon to herself.
She paused a little as she saw a familiar silver and black patterned cat. "Ah, Mr. Hollister," she said, angling her path to meet him.

The tabby looked up, clearing his expression. "Oh, Miss--Electra." He corrected at the last moment. "How are you this lovely day?"

"Pretty good," she answered, shifting the bags so she could carry them better. "And yourself?"

"I'm doing well." He paused for a moment. "Would you like a hand with those?"

Electra looked from him to the bags. "I should be alright, but thank you," she said just as one bag tilted dangerously.

Munkus moved quickly, his paws reaching out to steady the bag as he arched an eyebrow. "You sure?"

"Well, I wouldn't want to impose," she said, blushing a little. That had not been particularly graceful after all.

He offered her a slight smile. "It's no imposition."

Electra smiled back at him. "Alright," she said, handing off one of the bags. "I just need to run these down to Richard's. I can buy you a coffee afterwards maybe, for helping me out?"

He hesitated at that. "I...there's no need to do that."

Electra continued to smile at him. "Well, no need, but I'd like to."

Munkus readjusted the bag he was carrying and shrugged very slightly, he still wasn't comfortable with the idea of her paying, but fair enough. "Alright then."

Electra's grin widened even further. "Great. Have you ever been to the little cafe off Main Street? The Walnut Cafe I think it's called. It should be past the lunch rush now."

He shook his head. "No, I don't believe so." Don't tend to have the money to allow for trips to a cafe...
