Misto's tail remained curled around his leg as he ate standing up, glancing between the two siblings. "I take it me promising you I will not have your brother break into the house probably wouldn't help at this point, huh? Besides, Jones won't be there this time of day."

Besides, it ain't just the police," she turned to Misto again, "your uncle don't need t'be in, when y'go, he just needs t'find out it happened, decide he don't like it and he probably wouldn't hafta leave his desk t'send someone after the two of you." her eyes bored into Misto's, "Tell me I'm wrong!"

If possible, Misto's ears went even flatter. "Alright, alright, I'll go alone. I just need to run in and grab a couple things, like my clothes, and then I'll leave. I can do that myself and you won't have to worry about your brother, okay?"

Teazer looked from one tom to the other, "C'mon Jer, y'know that's not what I meant. Both of y'go and do it, but if the only way of doin' it is breakin' in, don't do that, it ain't worth it. It's just stuff at the end of the day, material objects, ain't worth riskin y'lives over, either of you."

Misto nodded, finishing the last of his food. "Alright," he said. He turned to Jerrie after placing his dishes in the sink. "Want to leave now so you can get back and reassure her sooner?"
