Mistoffelees was sitting on his somewhat usual bench, his worn deck of cards in paw. He sighed when a matronly woman shot him a dark look before ushering her children past. After giving the deck somewhat of a forlorn shuffle, he paused to tug his coat a little closer around him. He was never pleased when the seasons started changing toward the cold.

Tugger ran a hand through his headfur in an attempt to prevent the wind from buffeting it in all directions, but he was fighting a loosing battle, his mane already tangled, that was going to be a pain to brush out later.
Tugger didn't know if Mungo had called for him in the truck that morning, he'd slept late into the morning, and after going out following the fight with his father the night before, had risen to a pounding headache long after both Deuteronomy and Munkustrap were out of the house. Whether from injury or hangover, or a combination of the both, he was unsure, but had decided to get away from the house for a few hours in the hope it might start to ease off.
Tugger kicked listlessly at a few leaves that blew across his path, not really paying much attention to the tomcat on the bench nearby, he was lost in his own brooding.

Misto raised his eyebrows as he saw Tugger come brooding around the corner. "Oi," he called out when it seemed like the other might walk by them. "Tugger!" He waved out a paw.

Tugger looked round when he heard his name called. Seeing the other tom on the bench, he came over to join him. "Jeez, you're still at that game in this weather?"

Misto shrugged. "Yeah. 's not like I have much else to be doing." He paused, looking the other over. "You look terrible."

Tugger sat down heavily on the bench, "Thanks for your ever-so brutual honesty, I think I'd prefer it if you lied."

"You look fantastic, I'm sure the queens much just be falling over themselves to get to you," Misto drawled in reply. "That better?"

Tugger rolled his eyes, "Very funny. So how's life?"

Misto shrugged a shoulder, shuffling his deck. "Could be better, could be worse. Going have to find some form of hibernation for the winter soon," he said, gesturing toward the streets that were mostly empty.

Tugger nodded, "No point freezing your ass off out here for no money. Mebbe you could find a club or something that's looking for entertainment, bet you could market an act like yours."

Tugger pulled a face, "Honestly, don't ask."

Misto's eyebrows rose at that. "Really, that just wants to make me ask more..."

"Ah," Misto said slowly. That explained a lot of it. "You look the worse for it."
