Name: Fayst (Fah-yast) Tyme
Aliases: Two, Fast, Fairy (Is fiercely offended if you call him that, and with good reason)
Age: 20
Build: 5'11, He is very slender and somewhat shapely. Despite the fact of being a male, he has a narrow waist and somewhat wider hips than is normal.
Origin: The cats of Felidae are left in mystery about his origins, but it really isn't as mysterious as you would think.
Occupation: Co Head Waiter at the Palace
Eyes: Bright, almost glowing, golden brown eyes, most of the time the glint of mischief can be seen in them.
Hair: The out-of-style long hair that drapes past his shoulders. Normally he has it pulled and tied back with a black ribbon so it's out of his way.
Scars: You can't really see any scars on him... with clothing on. In truth, he is scared practically head to toe. Over his body are the small little nicks from knife fighting, there is even a small bullet wound on his right shoulder. Most noticeably he has a scar in the shape of an X, just like his brother. Both seem very reluctant to talk about said scar but with the rope burns that go down Fayst's arms tell you he probably got it in captivity.
Fur/Markings: Dark brown with pitch black tabby stripes. Over his face, down his chin, and over his chest the fur is all white and slowly fades out into the tabby that makes up the rest of his coat.
Attire: Alternates between a black jacket with light grey pinstripes and a light grey jacket with dark black pinstripes. Usually wears plain black trousers and the latest style in footwear. When about, he can even be seen with a matching in color hat -he is very good at making sure it doesn't clash with what he is currently wearing.
Accessories: A gold chain that alternates which wrist it is worn on, but it's always present.
WOC: A single revolver that is tucked into one of his trousers at any given time. He also has two knives that are hidden under his arms in special sheaths he has sewn into his undershirts. All he has to do is reach into his jacket, slip his hand through the small hole located in his armpit, and pull out the knife waiting in a little leather 'pocket' on the inside of the undershirt.
Fayst is more natural with his revolver than with a knife, but there is only so many rounds inside a gun. He's had to stoop to fighting with knives more than once.
Appearance: You'd be surprised upon first meeting him to learn that he is called a Fairy. He is perfectly masculine most of the time, and his male figure is well defined in the suit he wears. It's when he moves that the reason comes out because, in all reality, Fayst walks like a chick. His hips sway just enough to be noticeable and his foot-steps are light and careful, instead of a male's confident gait. He gets teased for it alot, but he doesn't care until you actually call him 'Fairy'.
The name does ring home, though. Fayst would deny it, but he has spent some time traversing around as the opposite gender. Not surprisingly, he is very good at it too. Unlike his eager brother, Slois, he can manipulate his voice extremely well and actually sounds like the girl he is trying to be.
Personality: Very mysterious in his everyday manner. Combined with his brother, Slois, it is impossible to tell them apart. Both of the brothers heavily enjoy this fact, and Fayst is constantly persuading Slois for them to swap places. They live to entertain themselves and confusing people is on the top of the list of 'funtertainment'.
Upon arriving to Felidae, both Fayst and Slois were very surprised to find they were not the only twins. What they were shocked to find out was that said twins didn't get along! They wouldn't have believed it if they had not seen it for their own eyes. The two brothers are closer than anything and cannot understand why Coricopat and Tantomile dislike each other so.
Separating the two, Fayst is very quiet and extremely reluctant to talk about himself. The tabby has been known to launch into a completely different topic when his own history comes up. No one is sure why he is avoiding the topic, but again no one is willing to invaid the twin's privacy by prying.
Fayst is probably the more mature of the two, but it's hard to tell because he only differs from his brother when the two are separated, which is hardly ever. He doesn't flirt as much as his brother does and instead is spending a lot of time with males. The downfall of this action is that he is more attracted to males than he is females. This leads to some very uncomfortable situations with his brother, and it also leaves Fayst heartbroken most of the time. If you mention anything about his previous relationships, he will deny ever being heartbroken and will insist he is the heartbreaker.
Special skills: Very skilled with his balance and speed, making him the logical choice in being the head waiter.
Fayst is very in-tune with his brother and the two have been known to mirror each other without even trying and the effect is uncanny.
Is a very good shot from all of his 'practice'.
Weaknesses: He has a fondness for younger toms who get themselves into trouble.
If his brother Slois suffers an injury then Fayst shares some of the discomfort because of his sympathy for his twin. The two feel so much like the same person that they psych themselves out and respond like they are one person.
Fears: He fears the death of Slois above all things; it's the one thing that keeps him worried in life. The twins don't exactly have a safe life and it probably wouldn't bother either of them until they realized the danger, not for themselves, but for each other.
Likes: It's very strange but Fayst enjoys pain and is a masochist. Slois has complained to him before about the pain he has to bare when he's around Fayst, but Fayst doesn't hear it and tell him that he can't feel it so he should stop the whining.
He loves strawberries.
Dislikes: Wine but is a little bit more fond of ale or beer.
History: Little is known besides the fact the two came from out of town one day. They avoided all questions and greetings until weeks later when they finally began to interact normally. Some people think that they were on the run from someone in the underworld and that they were just testing the waters here to make sure it was safe to stay.
In fact there is more truth in that statement than most people realize. The two were born in New York and with their controlling rich parents. For the younger years of their lives they were somewhat happy but as they got older the pressures of being part of the upper class was starting to sink in. They were expected to do this and do that, to make their father look good, to do as they were told, to marry... It was no wonder that the twins had, had enough. Together at the age of fifteen they jumped out of their cozy home and into the underworld. If they had known how their life would change, they probably never would have done it.
The two were quick to sign their lives away to one of the neighborhood gangs and not long after they were being brought on the dangerous missions of bankrupting and gang fighting. Months went by and the two realized they could never leave freely and had resigned to this new lifestyle. That was until they were told they would be going on a robbery. It wasn't anything new, so the boys willingly signed up and went along.
The mission was going great until the lights kicked on and their blood turned to ice. The mansion was so familiar and so were the sights and smells. With horror the two realized where they were: their parents mansion. For all their controlling, neither Fayst nor Slois wished them any ill will but, as they started to try and back out, it became clear that their new 'buddies' had something else in mind. The two were tied together and they watched with wide eyes and screaming lungs as their parents were killed before their very eyes. It was the gang burning all their bridges, making sure they had nothing to go back to, and it worked.
Months turned to years and the two remained in the gang, much more hardened than before. Slois gained his addiction for drawing pain from others and Fayst learned that bliss could be found in his own pain. For a good while, that's just how things were until the gang threatened to upset the balance again. A new kid had joined their gang and was about to take the same road they had taken. Their leader mistakenly put the twins on the mission and right as they were holding the revolvers to the parent's heads, they turned.
They killed all of the gang members on the mission, excluding the boy. They told him to enjoy what he had with his parents; with the promise of the boy still in the air, the two took their leave. They knew that their actions would have serious consequences, and it didn’t take long for it to kick in. Suddenly they went from one of the best in the gang to public enemy number one and were hunted down like prey where ever they went. It became so difficult to just walk down a street without the two of them being attacked. New York had become an incredibly dangerous place, and so the twins were forced to leave what was once their home. It took many weeks to lose them on the roads, and as soon as they did, the two made a beeline for a city that wasn’t too close or too far away. In the end, the solution was Felidae.
Love Interest: The only one he really 'loves' is his brother, as a brother. He would do anything to keep him safe and is absolutely sure it is vice-versa as well.
Quotes: "Are you twins?" The cat asked. Shocked, Slois turned to his brother.
"We're twins?!"
"What? Mom should have told us!" Fayst replied, his eyes round in disbelief.
"I feel cheated!"
"Duped!"
