This pretty much goes under the whole "Historical Information" thread but since it's gonna be really picture heavy, I decided to just do a new thread for the pretties.
These pictures are from Art Deco: 1910-1939 by Charlotte Benton, Tim Benton, and Ghislaine Wood, published 2003. (http://www.amazon.com/Art-Deco-1910-1939-Charlotte-Benton/dp/082122834X/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1334900561&sr=8-6) I'm sad now that I didn't have the time to actually read the whole book, but for now have some (sorta badly taken) images from it. The Art Deco movement was in full swing at this time, so I thought some visual aids might come in handy.
(This is what a movie theater looks like in the 1920s, BTW))
