Hello all! We're revamping the Introduction Thread after a year! It would be really great for all players to post here, just so we know a little more about everyone. It makes the RP sometimes run more smooth, and doesn't everyone want smooth running?
I'll start out, as one half of your admin team.
I live in Washington State (not the capital with all the cool museums) of the United States. It's a nice place, though pretty rainy so it's hard sometimes to be too outdoorsy. I go to college, and will graduate with a BA in History (which is why I tend to run around and fangirl about the 20s all over the board) and English, Literature emphasis. After that, applying to some graduate schools that might actually allow me to still be all Historian while actually having a job, which would be quite lovely.
I'm a nerd in many senses, though most fandoms tend to come and go. CATS and Star Trek, the Original Series, are two that have stuck around quite firmly. I've loved the music of CATS since I was about 6 (if not before then) and had a tape with Magical Mr. Mistoffelees and Memory on it. So Misto and I have a long history. There's a reason this muse moved in and never left.
I'm very excited about the new members the board has been getting, and look forward to hearing from all of you, and RPing with all of you!

Well I'm probably the youngest active roleplayer here. I'm still in gradeschool, thankfully highschool so I'm not too far behind, and in all Honors and AP classes. Despite popular belief, I'm actually quite smart. I don't want to brag on it though, so I downplay it. Alot. It's my blonde side so please forgive me for that.
I'm actually relitively new to the Jellicle fandom, but an old time lover of cats, not the musical. I saw the entire play just this November and have been hooked ever since. I don't have the whole background of loving it when I was little, and as a matter of fact for a long while I thought the idea was ridiculous. After a long debate, and plenty of boredom, I decided to watch the film on youtube, or part of the film. It wasn't for a few weeks that I rented the DVD from my local library and a few days more for me to actually watch it. Instantly, I loved it. In the process I dragged my sister into it, though she is more into drawing them than writing about them, and we've been nerds about it ever since.
I'm a long term writer and roleplayer, though. When I was ten I discovered the Warrior cats series and fell in love. I signed up onto many roleplay sites as possible and just never stopped. Eventually I did grow away from the Warrior cats roleplay because of the age group, but I didn't give up on roleplaying. Because of my many years of writing for roleplay I can pretty much bounce off whatever is handed to me, and respond in length. One time my friend and I went back and forth trying to make the longest post. It kind of stuck so I apologize that all my replies are so lengthy.
Another thing I grew up doing was creating characters. I loved making warriors with a wide variety of personalities and never repeated myself. Even now each of my characters are distinct and different than anything I have created in the past. It's almost a passion of mine to create this complex individuals and see them come to life in my writing. I find it being one of my favorite things to do, along with writing the stories to go along with them of course.
Sorry, I kind of went off and rambled there! xD
Looking forward to roleplaying here for a long while!

And nearly a year later, I'm Meadowlark the other half of your admin team and I'm finally getting my introduction written.
Hello all! Goodness, where to begin? I'm just wrapping up my first quarter of graduate school with VS. I've made a transition from Literature, my 4-year degree, to History, my graduate program's basis, and it's been good so far. History's a passion, hence the setting here.
I only got into Cats a few years ago, it might be as many as five now, but I absolutely fell in love with some of the characters. I've finally had the chance to see it live (twice!) and every performance is a new experience. Musical theater is a long-time love of mine, and fandom got me through some rough patches so I owe quite a bit there.
As to fandoms I enjoy? Cats, obviously, and Marvel's X-Men was my first fandom so that one holds a special place in my heart. The Scarlet Pimpernel was also an early fandom so I can, and will, talk at length about those books and films as well.
Glad to be here with you all and I look forward to RPing with you!
