Name: Russell Barret
Aliases: Russ, Rust, or even Barrel(people making fun of him)
Age: Thirty one
Build: Fit and lean with muscle that is not obnoxiously large but is noticable. You would have a hard time trying to find a trace of fat on him. His height come in roughly around 5'10. Figure wise, he is very curvatious and rivals some queens in that aspect.
Origin: France (Explained in History)
Occupation: Legally he owns his own tailor shop called 'Petites Flores'. Not so legally he is the gang leader of 'Petites Epines' (Literal translation into Little Thorns). It is primarily a Bootlegging company, but it spends some time doing roberies as well.
Eyes: Startingly icey blue. While they are emotionless themselves, it seems like you could fall into them just by gazing at them.
Hair: A dark ginger headfur cut to be put into the simple slick-back style. He's been growing it out from a military buzz so it still doesn't lay quite right, but it's close enough that most won't notice. When it doesn't have anything in it the strands are oddly soft and addicting to pet.
Scars: Not a whole lot of them are visible normally. He has a good deal of rope burns across his chest, of varying degrees and sizes, which suggust that he has spent some time being captured. He has a couple cuts and scrapes near his area, but no one has dared to ask about them. There is also a visible nick in his right ear.
Something not so popular to the era is the hole he has in his left ear that off and on has a silver hoop attatched to it, but most of the time it is left off. No one is sure why he has this, and he certainly isn't telling. Whenever some one brings it up, he simply gives a smile and tells them 'wouldn't you like to know?'
Fur/Markings: Mostly a russet ginger color but has a few patches of black fur over him. ( 0.tqn.com/d/cats/1/0/V/l/3/Dagney.jpg Only Mostly Ginger )
Attire: Despite the fact that he likes for his own men to dress up, he is rarely ever caught in a suit. Usually he wears simple and loose clothing, more of the casual sporting wear of the time. The sleeves are always neatly rolled up to precisely the same length and the bowtie around his neck is always sharply pressed and wrinkle free. The outfit may be 'loosey goosey' but he always looks sharp and finely dressed in whatever he wears. Usually he has a cap over his head with just his ears peaking out of it, but on occasion he does go without it.
Accessories: None that he wears regularly
WOC: The two revolvers he always has on person. They are cleverly hidden and he wouldn't bother telling you where. He loves to pull them out like he conjured them out of thin air. It makes people nervous and he loves it.
He is an excellent shot with both hands, his right a bit more so than his left. Also, he is one of the few who likes to blind fold himself and take apart his gun, clean it, and then put it back together.
In a more defensive manner, he has a wickedly long and cruel dagger sewn in a pocket on the insides of his vests. Russell has taken a fancy to calling it Madame Guillotine when refering to others.
Appearance: His fluffy fur fans away from the sharp angles of his face and make him appear more like a fox than a cat. His long fluffy tail doesn't help make him look anymore feline either. The natural curves of his body help make him appear to be more cat-like but also serves a double purpose. At first glance you would think he was a female, but don't make the mistake of calling him a lady or your brains and blood will be redecorating his walls before you know it.
Personality: He is very sly and loves to banter playfully. When cats come to him looking for answers he simply just beats around the bush. It frustrates cats and he whole-heartedly enjoys getting the better of them. Russell simple loves being able to get the last word in and, more importantly, getting what he wants. What he wants is very simple: money. You can try and stop him but no one is going to get in between him and his goal.
In fact, he won't hesitate to lay down the charms to get what he desires. He just wants a life of luxery so what's a little thing like a rub there and a purr here? And he doesn't care if you're a male or a female, he treats them all the same. Everyone is an actor on his stage of life and as the director he moves them and bends them to his will with no exceptions.
Drawing weapons doesn't faze him in the slightest. He's seen it all before. Likewise, he won't even hesitate to pull one of his own revolvers out. He's been known to point them at his lackies just to intimedate them into doing what he wants. While he is not pure evil, he has a goal in mind and no cat is going to stray him away from that.
Special skills: Excellent shot; Good at predicting where other's are shooting. Is also really good hand to hand.
Can swim reasonably well.
Can tailor, hem, and sew extremely well.
Weaknesses: He is very impulsive when it comes to certain desires. He also has a weakness for trying to help the weak.
Fears: Extreme heights. They make him weak in the stomach.
Likes: Winning, gambling (not with money), strong characters, money, and having a good time (-cough-tumbling-cough-).
He's also fond of vanilla ice cream and dancing music; and of course he likes to drink. One wouldn't call him a drunk, but he does drink a considerable amount. It takes a lot to get him drunk as he can drink most cats under the table.
Russell can also be called a masochist in the fact that he enjoys pain, or rather he gets pleasure from pain.
Dislikes: Losing, loud people, gambling (with money), weaknesses, and other French people, which is understandable given his past. The more rich the family the cat came from the more he is prone to dislike them.
On a more everday scale, he does not like bitter foods, the color orange, or being woken up early. It also bothers him when another cat's outfit clashes horrendously, the more it clashes the more it gets under his skin.
History: Born in his native land of France. His life there was simple and quiet; there was one thing that bothered him though: his family was dirt poor. He had seven siblings and with all those mouths to feed his family couldn't afford the luxeries other families were taking for granted. His family name was also worse than mud; his grandfather was a gambler and debtor, leaving his son to deal with all the money problems at his passing. In turn that was given to Russell when he came of age, but in a different sense. Everyone was distrustful of him, no one would even think about giving him a cent. Rumors spread like wildfire about his own parent's gambling. Everone thought he was going to waste away his life too.
It was so difficult for him and he slowly began to resent his family for it. His siblings were not exempt from the curse either, and they quickly fell into debt too. It would have been simple enough to just flee to another part of the country and start a life there, but it wasn't enough. France practically reeked of his families terrible name and he had to escape. It took years of work and work but finally he was able to land a job on a ship that would take him to America. And in America he inevitably found port in Felidae and made home there.
Honest work wasn't on his mind anymore. He was done trying to gain the respect he would never come by honestly. It was time to grow and expand in new directions. So at the age of twenty he started to pull himself through the underworld until he came to the top of his own gang of Bootleggers and theives. Now he has his own base in the form of an innocent tailoring company: Petites Fleurs. (Little Flowers - Giving the name to his under the radar gang Little Thorns)
Love Interest: He doesn't think romantically but he isn't against anything purely physical. Russell is pretty easy going in his ways and has been known to bat for both sides, if you catch my drift.
Quotes: "What do you take me for? L'enfant retardé d'un cachalot?" ; "'Tumbling' is only strange to cat's who have not tumbled in a while." "Oh, that explains why it's strange to me..." "You could fix that~"
Theme Song: "Madame Guillotine" from the Scarlet Pimpernel and maybe "Take Me on the Floor" by The Veronicas. He also likes the song "Good Girls Go Bad". "I Wanna Be a Billionare" also fits him remarkably well. He's also become partial to the song "I Don't Care" by Fallout Boy. "Trust Me", "Boys Boys Boys", "The Riddle", "What are you waiting for?" and the list goes on... He really should have his own playlist xD
