Apologies for the vanishing act - and art blather

Deepest apologies for vanishing without warning - I've been battling a bit of a cold so my plotting skills have been shot for lack of a better term, and on top that we've been dealing with the upcoming holiday (and knowing that the ones my brother will be spending stateside are slowly shrinking - my younger brother has been told that he can be called for deployment at any time. I personally hope for after Christmas - but, one day at a time there)

I have been doing some art of the cast while I've been off site. The gentletoms have been inked, no color yet as I'm trying to figure out how I want to do their markings (ie: do I want to go the route of using their stage counterpart's make up or do I want to go the route of how the ThunderCats do their coloring - see here for what I mean by ThunderCats coloring.) ((Misto's one that I'm hedging towards the ThunderCats coloring style if only so he has some color - considering I plan on doing his suit in black, tie color preference, VS?)) The dames are only in pencil at the moment since I'm still fussing with details on several. Grids decidedly looks younger then she's canonically in game ((my personal favorite currently is Electra. I love how she came out))

I will do requests so if there's any character that would love a brief little sketch, do let me know and I'll get to work. I should have the image for the gentletoms taken tomorrow (hopefully my camera phone won't give me a quarrel - my computer is having issues at the moment and I darenot see how it would react with my scanner)

I would personally prefer the coloring to be more like the actual play. I've never been a huge fan of ThunderCats coloration for cats. Also, Mistoffelees on Felidae has pure black fur--he in this case is not like his stage counterpoint at all, rather going back to the original poem. It, might be a pain to color but yeah he's not supposed to be anything but black. For his tie, I would say dark blue or a red one. I hope things will work out with holidays and your brother. Do you have any idea when you might have time to work on threads again?

Okay, I'll do it that way - I wasn't sure how to do it honestly. ((And heh, I did give one of the lower caste Thundercats I randomly doodled Cats markings so it wouldn't be hard to get the proper markings done.)) And thank you :D I'll make sure Misto's the first I color ((might do him a dark grey and shade with black so you can see the shading - the drawback of using colored pencil and having a black cat XD))

I should have a thread up sometime later today - I think I could start having her going to a church and do that Pie Jesu thread I've been batting around ((after all, the radio has started to play Christmas music))

Sounds good. I'm interested to see this fanart I've been hearing about for a while... XD

Alright. Though, keep in mind with Christmas we do it pretty specifically on the board where we label a particular day Christmas and deal with it, so feel free to do a Christmas-y time thread but the actual day is one we declare on the board and deal with.

well, I just had her singing under her breath really as she cleaned so it wasn't Christmas per se (and I really am looking forward to those threads. I'm all excited)

And tomorrow, I'm definitely taking those photos - hell, I still have that BatB one I promised to show off (the only pencil lines remaining were ones I sketched in so I had a rough placement of markings on "Belle")
