Griddlebone had spent the morning adjusting to actually living at the Demoniaque and getting her things put away. She went through her clothes, frowning as she realized exactly how little she had that was suitable for this part of town. She would need to find some more suitable clothes, for now though she pulled on her bright green skirt and an off-white blouse and descended the lift to the restaurant a little before lunchtime.

Going up through his hotel and checking on the floors as he went, trying to make sure the floors were running smoothly. He stopped at the entrance of the restaurant, looking over her and her appearance. Entering, he went over to where she was. "Mornin'," he said quietly.

"Are you goin' ta have lunch?" he asked. "Because the table over there is reserved for me at all times," he said, pointing to the one in the corner. "So if you ever want ta you can eat there. I'll let them know. Then you don't have ta pay at all either."

"Oh?" he asked. "Sorry, I went out for a while. The offer for free lunch stands whenever you like of course, if you'll be livin' here now."

"I have some time," he replied, trying to sound mild. Motioning toward the table he meant to follow her there.

Grids offered him a smile over her shoulder before making her way tot he table and settling in the chair opposite the one that could see both entrances to the restaurant.

He laughed softly at that, settling into his chair. "You know me so well," he drawled, thinking a moment before pulling out his lighter and cigarettes.

"Well, it makes sense," she remarked, a lilt that could almost be a quiet laugh in her voice. "You have a table that is in a position so your back isn't to the restaurant and therefore not to the door either."

He smiled at that, lighting one of his cigarettes and considering her a long moment. "Do you have everythin' you need here?" he asked.

"I have everything I own here," she replied with a nod. "And I have you, so...I would say that's a yes." There was a hesitation, "Though my clothes are more suited to the docks than uptown."

"I can hardly be accepting gifts of too many clothes and continuous free lunch, Mac. Not now that I'm livin' here and dealing with society regularly." Her ears flickered slightly.
