"Both, eventually. For now, what would you like to eat? Tell me and I can make my decision based off whether I like your suggestion or not."
((I'm assuming that they're walking by now?))

((They have been the last couple posts? >.> Or so my brain has thoughts, whoops))
He laughed again. "I am at madame's discretion. Pick your place and I shall follow."

((I was thinking so too, but I was not sure... XD ))
She rolled her eyes in mock exasperation as they strolled down the sidewalk. "Well, aren't we a swell pair? Indecisive as butterflies, we are! Fine, fine, I'll make the final choice." Pursing her lips, she let her eyes wander over the various shops and cafes nearby. At last she pointed. "That one, I think. They have good tea, if I remember correctly, and nice sandwiches."

((Kay. XD Shall work on being clearer.))
"And where would we go but a place with nice tea and sandwiches," Philip agreed, holding the door open for her.

"Thank you-But of course! Tea and sandwiches is a must." She paused for a moment, scanning the room for a good spot. "That one." She gestured to a small table next to the window.

Getting two menus from the waitress he handed one to her as they walked over at sat. "And you've been doing well lately? Nothing big come up or anything like that?"

"No, it's been quiet, besides an incident with Ox throwing some pastry at Freddie... Only small ones, easily replaced. Something about the soup stock not being salty enough..." She trailed off, her eyes far away and a soft wry smile on her lips.

Philip tried not to react to that, though his eyes got a little wide. "I suppose so long as no one was harmed," he managed.

Noticing the increasing size of Phillip's eyes, Maggie shook herself out of her reverie and moved to reassure him. "Oh, no no! It's been years since they hit someone besides each other. I got the tail end of a small trout when I was much younger but I screeched so loudly that they made a pact to never hit me again..." She trailed off again, and then spoke hesitantly. "I'm not really helping am I?"

"Not particularly," he replied, face relaxing into a bit of a smile. "But so long as you love your family and are loved by them I suppose it all works out?"

She let out a long-suffering sigh, holding a paw over her eyes in a melodramatic manner, mimicking a literary damsel in distress. "I suppose." She gave an unladylike snort and rolled her eyes. "In all seriousness though, yes, family is family, and I wouldn't trade mine for anything."

"Family can be interesting that way," and Philip considered if that was too obvious a conversation changer or not. "Actually, I was wondering if sometime you would mind getting lunch or dinner with my brother. He... may have implied wanting to meet you."

Pausing, Philip nodded. "Yeah. Nothing big or formal, or anything, just for lunch or the like."

"Well, of course, I'd love to meet your brother!" Her smile was huge and nervous. "I don't think I've ever been on this end..."
