With a sigh, Mistoffelees leaned against the back of the couch, watching him for a while. "I'm going to bed," he said finally.

"That's not an ans--" Mistoffelees threw up his paws. "Do what you will. Good night," he muttered before stomping down the hall, pausing for a second before deciding he might as well, and curling up in Coricopat's bed.

Cori glanced up long enough to see where the other cat went, before turning back to his work. He'd see how long he could actually keep awake and then would decide where he was sleeping... He really didn't want to think about what just came up in their conversation.

After several hours without getting sleep, Mistoffelees rose again, hesitating between the kitchen and the living room for a second before storming into the living room. "What is wrong?" he demanded. "Why are you still awake?"

Cori was starting to gather his papers together again, he couldn't concentrate any longer, and something told him deciphering his own handwriting tomorrow was going to be a joy. "I...had more work than I thought." He replied.
