Humming to himself, Mistoffelees held the pot over the plates, serving up the food. "There's some different drinks in the fridge," he said. "Or some wine if you like. Found some at Jones' various estates and figured at this point it wouldn't matter much keeping it."

"Honestly? I'm still trying to convince myself ever touching alcohol again is a good plan," he said softly, going to get the bottle. "Bad experience and all that. But... I suppose a little isn't harmful right?"

Cori nodded his understanding, "A single glass shouldn't hurt. Especially taken with dinner."

"Well, we'll try that then," Mistoffelees said softly. "Small glass. A very small one." He offered Cori a smile. "Sorry, I'm over reacting but, last time was just... bad."

The lawyer poured himself a glass of wine and about half that much for Mistoffelees, "No, it's quite understandable. I do happen to remember the last time you consumed alcohol."

Cori shrugged, setting the wine glasses down and then settling at the table, "Well, it happened either way. But half a glass of wine shouldn't do any harm."

Mistoffelees offered him a smile. "Thank you for being reassuring," he murmured. "I'm acting like a kit a little huh?" He hesitated a second more before taking a sip of the wine and turning to his food.

Mistoffelees ate in silence for a bit. "Any plans for tonight?" he asked, glancing up.

"It sounds like a nice change," Mistoffelees murmured. Moments later he finished his food, setting his plate in the sink, taking the half drunk glass of wine with him. "Do you mind if I turn on the radio then?"
