Grinning like a schoolkit, he leaned back and locked the door with the tip of his boot, somehow keeping his balance despite being suddenly topheavy. They swayed a little and he laughed heartily.
"I was the pirate," he sang, half to himself. He liked to sing when he was around her, "You were the queen. Sir Francis and Elizabeth, the best there's ever been..."
