Maggie blinked slowly. "Milkshakes."

For a moment Philip blinked before he started laughing, remembering that particular conversation with a large white tom.

Maggie joined in the laughter, her eyes twinkling. "Uncle Ox got into a spot of trouble over that. Mr. Hollister came to the kitchen and gave my uncle a stern talking to. I don't think I'd ever been so terrified in my life! Also, I don't think I've seen Uncle Ox looking that sheepish since the incident with the lady's hat and the brioche in Paris! I couldn't tell whether to laugh or cry, I was so confused!"

"Well," he said, having stopped laughing. "It certainly sounds like an interesting place to work if nothing else."

Maggie nodded vigorously, still giggling slightly. "You can say that again. At least I can say there's never a dull moment. Though I think Ox and Fred are due for another row, they haven't had a big one in a while - not since New York. I do hope they keep it out of the kitchen though, it gets rather hairy when they got at it..."

Philip paused for a moment. "You don't actually sound too worried about them fighting though," he remarked.

Maggie nodded slowly as she spoke. "It's almost a ritual of theirs. When they become comfortable in a place they feel that they can let loose and have a fight. I'm sure most of the kitchen staff will weather it well. However, they do get rather...involved."

Philip's brow rose a bit higher. "On the plus side, at least you know what's happening... You can prepare for it and all that. I'm sure you'll all weather it fine."

Maggie offered a sheepish smile. "I suppose so, since they do seem to actually listen to me most of the time. And they do love what they do."

"Loving what you do," he said and reached forward to tuck a strand of hair back from her face. "Is always a very definitive plus."

Maggie leaned into his paw, slightly nuzzling it and looking him straight in the eyes. "I must say, I whole-heartedly agree." A light blush dusted her cheeks at the statement, as she smiled tentatively.

He grinned at that and his ears tilted toward the dance floor as the music changed. "Another dance then?"

Her ears perked up and a brilliant smile bloomed on her face. "Always."
(( Ahhhhh! So much fluff! ))
