Having slept only slightly better than the night before, Misto stirred when he heard Coricopat moving around in the morning. He glanced at the clock, wincing when he saw how early it was.
Rising from the bed, he glanced around, getting mostly dressed though he didn't bother with a tie or vest yet before going to the kitchen, blinking as his eyes adjusted to the lights.

Coicopat pulled on his suit coat and straightened his tie before slipping out of his room. He paused at the sounds of Mistoffelees in the kitchen. The mottled tom frowned, before entering the kitchen, "Good morning."

"Morning," Misto replied softly, putting the kettle on for tea before dealing with anything else.

Misto blinked at him a moment and almost blushed. "I couldn't sleep and heard you moving around..." he said.

Cori considered him for a long moment before moving over and sitting down at the table, "You know I'm able to get my own tea and breakfast, yes?"

Misto blinked at him a moment, having just started getting to work on breakfast. "I... yes? But as I said, I was already up enough anyway..."

Misto blinked, glancing back at him again. "Earlier than you did," he replied, though he hadn't fallen asleep then.

For a moment, Misto busied himself with getting the tea finished and set on the table before replying. "It's hardly more than what you've gotten."
