Munkus nodded, "You're welcome." He glanced up at the sound of footsteps coming down the corridor. "It looks like I need to be on my way. Is there anything else I can do for you?"

Munkus nodded slightly as the guard returned to let him out. He glanced at Brachen. "I'll see you tomorrow." He slipped out and the guard locked the cell again as the lawyer headed up the corridor.

Brachen listened to his defense go down the hall, listened to the sound of the door slam shut behind him. He started singing again, humming softly to the cobblestone walls in a language he didn't understand.
