Humming softly to herself, Electra closed up the shop for the night, glancing around a bit more than usual.

Munkustrap saw her and picked up his pace, reaching her side. "Good evening, Electra." He'd spent the day convincing his employer that yes he had in fact been hired to take that case, and he was sure as hell not doing anything but defend the cat to the best of his abilities.

Turning, she grinned at him, locking the door to the shop. "Good evening, Munkustrap," she said, before looking him over and frowning ever so slightly. "Everything alright?"

"Well enough," she replied. "Pretty normal all things considered. Are you sure about you though? You look pretty exhausted... Did something happen at the courthouse?" Please tell me you weren't assigned the case on everycat's tongue...

Electra paused for a moment and then nodded. "I suppose that's how it goes sometimes," she murmured. "Do... do you think you'll be alright defending him though? I don't just mean mentally for yourself, but also in terms of public opinion?" She didn't even ask him who asked him to take the job... not yet anyway.
