Macavity blinked at the cop pressing the issue. "Yes, sir, I have not seen a blade like described recently." Which was, strictly speaking true, depending on how one was going to define recently. "It's hardly somethin' you would forget seein' after all."

Sighing, Bautista nodded grimly. "Thank you for your time, sir." He replaced his hat on his head and tipped it towards Griddlebone. "Thank you, Miss Griddlebone. I'll be sure to let you know if I have any other questions. Have a nice day."
