Name: Bombalurina Piper
Aliases: Bombi, Bomba, Bombs, Rina, B, Pipes
Age: Just recently turned 27
Build: Tall for a queen; around 5’10-5’11, with a curvaceous hourglass frame and a complimentary wasp-like waist. She’s a real queen, but she's pretty shy to show it.
Origin: Moved from a smaller town into Felidae in search of bigger and better opportunities.
Occupation: Originally, her dream was to become a singer, but after landing in the big city she found her aspiration fizzled as her bank account dwindled.
More recently, she’d been hired as a photographer for someone who claims to be from the Felidae Tribune, but it didn’t take a super-sleuth to realise she herself was hired by one of the city’s dirtiest P.I’s.
Eyes: Bright, apple green.
Hair: Long, dark red waterfall of headfur. Not quite in any style particularly, but more so long, silky and slightly reminiscent of Jessica Rabbit.
Scars: One on the tip of her left ear from a stupid slumber party as a teen; back when everyone thought it was cool to have your best friend pierce your own ears. Of course, it never stuck, especially after the yelling her Dad put her through.
Fur/Markings: Scarlet red fur, which shimmers deeper hues in the light. As with most red heads, she sometimes catches some violet tints in certain lights. She’s dappled with a few darker tones, especially across her legs and hips, with many a leopard spot dotting her curvy figure. She has a noticeably white chest pelt and milk mouth; both of which seem to be handy in drawing attention to such areas. Her tail however, is almost Persian-like, lush and thick, with a look similar to her hair. The fur on her ears are reminiscent of a fox, with black tips melting into her trademark red.
Attire: Sleek, dark coloured rather flattering skirt-suits. (Though, she's semi-oblivious to the fact they're slightly form enhancing on her particular frame) Trying to fit into the working world and rather then the local nightlife has been hard, but she can’t afford to get fired from this job. She's hung up her velour and velveteen dresses for good, as far as she's concerned...for now.
Accessories: Wears her grandmother’s engagement ring on the ring finger of her right paw. Its not much, but its one of the few personal keepsakes she wants to keep from her old life.
WOC: Never having had much of a need to fight, Bombi’s not the quickest when it comes to a punch up. Her fangs and claws will kill in a queen cat-fight, but she hasn’t got much to use against a fella unless you count good acting skills and an impressively feminine physique.
Appearance: Basically an amalgamation of previous appearance points. She’s got a rather classic beauty about her; large expressive eyes, perfectly pouty and bowed lips, well proportioned features with a heart shaped jaw line. Of course, her best feature would have to be her figure, not to mention she has a good set of legs which tend to catch a tom’s eye.
Personality: Once bubbly and outspoken, the queen has simmered to a quiet and more subdued persona, a complete contrast to her outward appearance.
One would easily assume she’s the life of the party with a body and face like that, however in more recent years, and in light of several personal tragedies, the move to Felidae has dampened her flame. Now, struggling to make ends meet, the queen’s taken a lacklustre job for a sleazy personal detective, which has stifled her usually-proud persona even further.
However, as always, there’s a small inner voice which has begun to rise again. The femme fatale in her wants to be unleashed, but it hasn’t found the right moment yet.
Special skills: With aid from her looks, its safe to assume it’d take a tom of great willpower to resist any charm she may pull out once she gets her ‘groove’ back. Not to mention, she makes a mean cherry pie; sugary sweets are this girls specialty.
Although she vowed she’d never sing again, this gal also manages to have a stunningly husky voice. Though this song bird seems like the perfect package, she has multiple issues which are holding her back.
Weaknesses: It seems there are more weaknesses then strengths now days. Felidae’s been the last in some grinding set-backs, which has caused her self-esteem to plummet. Incidentally, looks mean nothing if you a) don’t believe in them, and b) have conveniently forgotten how to use them. Surprisingly this particular femme fatale wears her heart on her sleeve, her iron-clad emotional defences worn away under the stress, leaving her open and vulnerable to just about anycat. She’s particularly sensitive when it comes to romance – she no longer believes in love, and because of this its harshened her judgement of toms dramatically.
Fears: The one thing every true romanticist fears; dying alone, or worse, having their heartbroken. Falling into a state of mental unease/illness, as did her mother years before.
Likes: Singing along with her favourite ballads when she thinks no one’s listening. Photographing, at least when not at work, especially nature. Baking, and curling up on the couch with a good book to listen to the rain pattering on the windowpane.
Dislikes: Her job and her boss, not to mention Felidae and most of the people she’s encountered here so far. Being told she’s not worth anything, feeling like a failure, Toms in general after a series of disastrous relationships. She’s not particularly partial to the grog after quite a few of said Toms seemed to be fond of it themselves.
History: Bombalurina grew up in a small town miles away from Felidae, with hopes and dreams of one day being on stage. She was a rather rambunctious kitten, and gave her mother a lot of grief with her over-excitable nature. However, as she grew older, she became a lot shyer around other queens as she started to garner attention from childhood tom friends.
Eventually, it was the death of her mother which really shook her to the core. Evelina Piper took a gun to her mouth one day for absolutely no apparent reason. (It was later discovered, through her diaries and talks with some of the gossipy towns folk, that she hadn’t been “quite right” for a while. Its most likely she suffered from severe bouts of depression and inherent loneliness as her husband paid more attention to his work and his daughter.)
The suicide itself shocked the family and the town, her father becoming distant and withdrawn from her. Being a Daddy’s girl, this sparked a lot of fights between them, until eventually she took solace in the arms of her old friend, the neighbour’s son. Not realising how unhealthily attached she’d become to him, she’d unquestionably followed him, blind to the inklings of what would later become an emotionally abusive friendship/relationship, and for him, the start of a very big drinking problem.
Once again, it was an abrupt event which shocked some sense into her. Walking in on her friend-sort-of-boyfriend together with one of her remaining close female friends. Her father’s vacancy and the utter humiliation of the town gossip sparked her to pack her bags and take the first train out of there. She was desperate to escape anything that reminded her of her former life.
Travelling across some smaller towns for many years, meeting various toms who would solidify her belief that love didn’t exist (some were married, some more interested in applying her makeup then seeing it off, deadbeats, con artists, etc.) she eventually found herself drawn to the idealism of a ‘big city’. Taking one last shot at her dream, she soon found her husky tones were more attractive to seedy bars and clubs then serious record producers, and with her finances drained, she hung up her mike.
Love Interest: Too afraid of heartbreak and love in general, she’s attempted to steer clear of the male populace.
Quotes: None thus far.
Theme Song: “Summertime” – Billy Holiday (A personal favourite in her repertoire, this queen can sing it in a lullaby. Although, she’d rather not share that detail; she finds the overall song very personal and whenever she opens her mouth to share it, it always twists into a very deep and soulful lament.
I Put A Spell On You - Nina Simone (Pretty sure, Nina Simone's cover of this song epitomises the potential Bombi has for being a complete bombshell. Get you act together girl!)

Other Notes: This isn't how I usually play Bombi, but I had an idea and decided to run with it. Much of this, history in particular, may be subject to change as I explore her deep rooted psychological issues in play.[/
