She did wince when the antiseptic was applied, though she made no sound.
She nodded to his question. "If you think it best."
What is this going to cost? She wondered to herself.

He nodded slightly. "I think it would be, yes. How hard did you hit your head?" He asked as he carefully bandaged her paw.

"Harder than hitting a cabinet door when straightening up. I haven't got much else to compare it to, S- Doctor Cohen."
Again using her left paw to indicate she indicated the spot just left of the bump at the back of the skull. "I think it hit hereabouts."

She raised her chin and to do as told. Her gaze flickered nervously from one eye of his to the other. She counted in her head to keep from looking away until he told her to.

"There was some dizziness right after I'd been hit. But no nausea. I thought it was just from being winded."

"I haven't had x-rays before. How does it work?" She held her coat in front of her with both paws now that the one was bandaged.

Cohen motioned to one of the side doors. "Simply put? It takes a photograph of your bones and organs so I can take a look at them."

She looked around for somewhere to leave her coat, and upon seeing a chair she draped it there and moved behind the x-ray screen. Although nervous she stood still and with good posture.

He turned on the x-ray,getting the images he would need before shutting it off. He motioned to the chair. "Have a seat, miss."

She did as told, moving the coat to hold in her lap as she sat, like some sort of shield or security blanket.
